this busy family had just gotten back from a relaxing vacation in time to do a session with me before school started.  not only are they clients but we go way back at our kids’ elementary school where our daughters became and remain very close friends.  they had a flower garden setting session two years ago (when i had my old blog) and wanted something a bit different.  plus they got an adorable new dog and needed a place conducive to pets so we set out and found the perfect spot.  lots to do between tree climbing, creeking and more.   it was a photography adventure!  here are some of my fav’s…

stunning!

julia’s just squeezing the love out of audrey!

quite the gymnast!

i’ve never had a dog be so photogenic before!

i’ve said it so many times…mom and dad…get at least one image of just the two of you alone. when’s the last time?

these images are part two of a two part session!  the first part took place at my client’s home with four generations together.  what a blessing for everyone to be surrounded by so much family.  after we shot the images with the great grandparents, we headed out to a nearby park to have some fun!  there were two grandparents who live in town, their three children and spouses with their children.  got all that?  one sibling lives here,  one in florida and one flew in from israel.  it’s so great for me to be a part of these family gatherings since i know they don’t happen often and children change so quickly.  i decided to post the images of the kids because, let’s face it, once there are kids/grandkids, it’s all about them!  lol.  these children were fun, tender, great listeners and a pleasure to work with. while these were some of my fav’s, i can’t wait for you all to see the rest.   thanks for letting me capture who these kids really are…laughing, dancing, hugging, loving children.

cutie pie.

with four sisters, it’s so nice they have each other for the “boy stuff”.

these are the tender moments.  look at the way these girls just adore their little sisters.

more tenderness. this little one got so much love from his older sisters. lucky!  his brothers were off playing but i got some of them later.
