wow!  that about sums up this session!  lou is monica’s mom.  gorgeous…like mother, like daughter!  lou wanted a fabulous, magazine model session to showcase how amazing she looks for her age and, i’d say, for ANY age!  we should all be so lucky!  we had so much fun shooting around downtown.  lou took the city by storm.  literally, traffic stopped when she walked across the street.  SO much fun capturing this side of who lou is.  here are some of my favorites from that day…

taking a break.  it’s not easy being beautiful!

all of her clothing choices were so well thought out, right down to the shoes.

the constructions guys had NO problem letting us use their ladder for a few shots!

nothing but the best!

had to showcase the back of the dress!

jessica is definitely a stand out model from the class of 2012 big shots model team!  i feel lucky to have her on board!  you may remember her first session from back in the spring. she was so photogenic and genuine then and did it again for her second session.  we mixed it up the second time around  to give her a more urban backdrop.  no matter the setting or session,  jessica’s smile just about says it all!  she is one of the friendliest girls i’ve had the pleasure of working with.  all of the friends she’s referred to me have been just as nice!  i guess “birds of a feather stick together”!

i know life now is all about getting through senior year, college apps and looking toward the future.  i’m sure the future holds great things for you, jessica.  just keep being who you are and you’ll go far!

here are a few favorites from our most recent session together…

i was so lucky when tricia was “given” to me.  not exactly given, i guess.  i had a model prospect who didn’t feel she’d have the time to dedicate to the program and so she gave me tricia’s name.  i didn’t know anything about tricia at the time but now i do!  i don’t even know how to begin writing this blog post for tricia’s second session that she earned being a big shots model!  her first session had a more urban feel so we mixed things up by giving her a low key, natural session this time.

i’ve gotten to know tricia fairly well over these last few months with many phone calls and, of course, her sessions.  tricia is girl extraoridinaire.  beyond her “outer gorgeousness” is a beautiful, driven, giving soul.  i admire the way she is an active participant in so many activities.  among many other things, she will be co-chairing the “fashion for the cure” event at sycamore this coming year, is very involved in unified for unifat, and is such a hard worker in many realms including being a model for big shots.  i’m blown away by her dedication and determination.

i know you’re going places, dear tricia.  i can’t wait to see where life takes you…or more like it, where you take life!

here are some of my many favorite images from our session together.  it was a pleasure to capture who you are again.

remember chandler from her spring session and her recent summer session? well, here’s “the rest” of chandler…her family! her mom’s been a delight to talk to/work with since the moment i met her at the model meeting. she’s very thorough and involved.  she made her family session appointment soon after chandler signed up to be a model so she would get a good date/time.  when mom and dad work outside the home with set hours, it’s really hard to coordinate schedules if there isn’t a lot of time or wiggle room.

the session went off without a hitch.  chandler’s brother and dad were a tad hesitant at the start but, as you can see from the images, they warmed up nicely!  they all ended up doing great. and then they went to dinner after as a reward for a job well done!  sounds good to me.  thanks for letting me capture who you are as a family.

who could forget this gorgeous face?  i’m sure you remember chandler from her post a few months ago.  chandler is a big shots model.  all of the big shots models are given the opportunity to earn or purchase a second session if they wish.  chandler decided she wanted a different vibe and location from her first session, so she had a second.  i don’t think i could take a bad image of chandler…seriously! the golden light combined with her infectious smile and personality proved to be a winning combination for this “pretty in the park” session. i am so glad to have her as a big shots model!  thanks, chandler, for giving me another opportunity to capture who you are.  here a some of my many fav’s.
