it’s fun to watch babies grow throughout the first year and even beyond!  this little cutie was featured on the blog as a newborn back in may of last year.  here she is at five and nine months.  she’s one of the happiest babies i’ve ever worked with…always a smile on her face!  i can’t wait to see her at her one year session!

it’s amazing how she’s on her back and tummy and just a few short months later, she’s sitting up!

you can just feel the fun and love these two have for each other!  so glad i could capture who they are together at this stage.

this summer has brought me such joy!  i feel like i have the perfect mixture of babies, families and seniors.  i have so many sessions still to blog and shoot!  this session was such a nice combo of different aged girls.  we used an awesome ottoman and adorable furry kids chair from Best for Babies & Big Kids Too.  it was the perfect mix of cute props and kids that really let me capture the girls.  here are my faces from our session:

newborn girl goodness here!  she was wide awake when i arrived so we had some fun capturing her big blue eyes and priceless expressions.  then, she finally did fall asleep so i could capture all the squishy, sleepy moments.   her parents were over the moon and totally focused on being together and taking care of their newborn.  it’s so neat how two people suddenly become so much more than just three when a baby is born.  they become a family.  here are some of my fav’s:

this session was very special to me because marissa and her family have been a special part of my life for a long time.  i remember way back in the fall; talking about her session when she was not even showing yet.  now the babies are here!  marissa and joel couldn’t have been more laid back for this session.  on little sleep and with two five day old babes, they were go very “go with the flow”.  baby spit up, clothes changes, a little “wee”…nothing could shake these new parents.  and not much except hunger could keep meyer and remy from stealing the spotlight!  they’re all so lucky to have each other.  i feel blessed that i was one of the first “outsiders” to meet the babies.  they didn’t disappoint!  they are so beautiful!  take a look for yourselves at some of my fav’s:

i love watching babies grow up on the big shots baby plan.  i also love when grandparents join in for one of the sessions.  that’s one of the cool things about the plan; being able to mix things up here and there since there are multiple sessions.  we started with elliot’s newborn session, then cohen and elliot shared some brotherly love for elliot’s four month session.  this time we have 9 month old elliot, big brother cohen and both sets of grandparents.  i’d say the kids are very lucky to have so many people who love them close by.  and i’m happy to be able to capture who they are together!  here are some of my fav’s…
