to the park we went…  she and her adorable family live in newport now so we met half way.  the shoot was mainly about getting chaney’s 18 month portraits but we couldn’t leave out her big bros.  what a fun, crisp, fall morning session.  i met kelly in the “friend of a friend of a friend” sort of way. it’s sort of weird how fate puts people together.  she was my perfect client.  very go with the flow, dressed her kids in THE cutest clothes, and had an awesome southern kentucky accent to boot!

omg.  those eyes.

love the way they’re holding her up.  and having fun with her too.

dad might be outnumbered but all of the girls, including mom, wanted special shots of them with andrew.  still, lots of girl power going on here!  all different ages and stages. since my daughter is nine, i always like to look at older girls to get an idea of what i have in store.  if this family is an example, i think it’ll be a piece of cake!  when jennifer initially emailed me, she asked if i was “up for the challenge of photographing her family”.  what challenge?  they were so much fun to be with and i could tell they have fun with each other.  feelin’ the pressure though. andrew is a dwac (dad with a camera) and comes from a photo enthusiastic family so i hope i live up to their standards , LOL!

strike a pose!

love the fun!  they all had a turn with dad.

what more do you need than hugs and laughter?

so jealous of sisters.  love my brother but think the sister bond is unique.  when all’s said and done, they have each other.  forever.

sandra and i had a fun urban session on one of our gorgeous cincinnati fall afternoons.  we went to some of my favorite spots and she was a natural! i told sandra that she was super photogenic!  i think these images prove me right-lol!

laikyn said she wanted a session that was different from everyone else’s.  after talking to figure out exactly what she was looking for,we determined that her session would include city locations mixed with a bit of grunge and a visit to the park.  it sounded like a recipe for FUN!  and it was.  an awesome guy from the tatoo shop let laikyn sit on his motorcycle for some shots.  then we found an awesome graffiti wall and  saw about four more as we headed to our second location.  for sure going back.  i’m so glad you were up for trying new things, laikyn.  it paid off!
