this post is just the first of five posts i will have featuring danny and his friends.  they have all been buddies since they were little.  a VERY tight group. danny’s mom called with the brilliant idea of a combined session that also gave each boy his own time for some individual shots.  sounded good to me. i have to say, they were THE nicest, best mannered teenage boys.  it was fun to see them all interacting.  i’m sure it will be hard to be apart when they separate for college but they’ll always have their memories and these images.

as i’ve said before, i love cincinnati.  the vibe, the energy, the diversity, the _____ (fill in the blank).   this family shares my passion.  they wanted a session that would be capture the essence of the city in a timeless, season less way.  i’d say mission accomplished!  

the architecture is as stunning as this family!  it adds so much!

what fun we had at jean’s session!  she brought along my big shots model, rebecca, who happens to be one of her bff’s.  rebecca didn’t get in the photos but she provided some comic relief for jean and got us some truly genuine laughs.  in fact, we were all laughing the whole time.  jean got in the monk mobile for a shot.  did you know there was such a thing?  i guess it takes people from mt. adams to various cincinnati events.  cool!  that was just one of the many memories we all have of this fun day.

I love Big Shots Photography and working with Marla because:  shes so fun! She’s easy to talk to, and when you’re with her, you feel like you’re hanging out with a friend. Her sessions are fun and completely open to what you want rather than confined to a studio.

lindsay had her mind set on going to a certain location.  it looked like it wasn’t going to happen but, yay, it all worked out in the end!  we met her dad, who brought the pets, at her location of choice, an old victorian mansion, built around 1865.  we then made our way into town.  the grounds were gorgeous, the day was  gorgeous, lindsay was gorgeous.

I have never…been to a dance with a date. The only one I had a date to, I couldn’t go to because I threw my back out.

If I had $1,000 I would…Give it to my dad because I spend way too much of his money. Oops!

I love Big Shots Photography and working with Marla because:  It was so much fun and all about me! It was easy to plan, and Marla was so flexible and friendly. I felt confident and beautiful during the whole shoot. Marla was so much easier to work with than a big company with complicated policies. It was a day I will always remember and I have pictures to go with it!

i knew colleen was going to scarlet oaks for school but i didn’t know what her concentration was.  when i met her, my first thought was “hair”!  her hair was so cool and funky.  most hairdressers have the best hair so i just figured that was it.  i was wrong!  she has great hair but that has nothing to do with her concentration, which is being a chef (thus the chef’s hat in her post!!!).  i know she’s going to be successful wherever her career takes her.  she is so friendly, confident and just a lot of fun.
